The tournament is scheduled for Feb. 12-20 at TD Garden in Boston and Bell Centre in Montreal.

Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman is one of the first six players named to the Sweden team for the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off. 

Hedman is a two-time Stanley Cup champion and a six-time finalist for the Norris Trophy as the best defenseman, winning it in 2018.

He will be joined by Erik Karlsson, Gustav Forsling, William Nylander, and Mika Zibanejad.

The 4 Nations Face-Off is an international tournament that will be played Feb. 12-20, 2025, with players representing the United States, Canada, Finland, and Sweden. The event is set to replace the NHL All-Star game as a way to give fans a preview of the Olympic stage. 

The remaining team members, which will include 20 skaters and three goalies are expected to be named later this year.
