Here's the latest on Nikita Kucherov's injury.

Tampa Bay Lightning superstar was a late scratch for the club's Feb. 9 contest against the Montreal Canadiens. Thankfully, the Bolts still picked up a hard-fought 5-3 win over the Habs without their top superstar.

While speaking to reporters, Lightning coach Jon Cooper shared that Kucherov is considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Following the game, Cooper also added that Kucherov tweaked something at Feb. 8's practice, leading to his injury.

While it is unfortunate that Kucherov suffered an injury, the Lightning, thankfully, do not play another game until Feb. 23 against the Seattle Kraken due to the 4 Nations Face-Off break. Thus, Kucherov has plenty of time to recover before the Lightning get back to playing games.

Kucherov is once again dominating the NHL this season, posting 25 goals, 57 assists, and 82 points in 52 games.
