A former Lightning forward deservingly got a video tribute last night and received a warm welcome from the fans.
The Tampa Bay Lightning got a big 6-3 win over the Colorado Avalanche last night. Nikita Kucherov led the way with a three-point night, but another notable part of it occurred while the game was paused.
Former Lightning forward Ross Colton returned to Amalie Arena for the first time since the end of his three-year tenure with the team. Because of this, the Lightning rightfully gave him a tribute video. Given the fact that he was a hard-working player known for his physicality and being clutch, he was certainly a fan favorite during his stint with the club.
Colton, 27, appeared in 190 regular-season games with the Bolts, where he had 47 goals, 83 points, and 377 hits. Overall, he provided solid secondary scoring throughout his entire tenure with the Lightning but also gave them plenty of grit in the process.

Colton also appeared in 52 playoff games for the club, posting 10 goals and 19 points. However, none was more important than his Stanley Cup-winning goal in 2021.
