The Tampa Bay Lightning have announced that registration is now open for the Fall 2025 Learn to Play programs, a perfect opportunity for kids ages 4 to 10 to discover the fundamentals of hockey. Beginning September 20, the programs will be held at seven locations throughout the Tampa Bay Area, giving boys and girls the chance to learn the basics of hockey. Each participant will receive full hockey equipment and take part in eight weekly one-hour sessions. The Lightning Learn to Play Program is designed for kids who are new to ice hockey. It won't be open to those who already own hockey equipment or have previously played in an organized ice hockey program. Additionally, kids who have already completed the Lightning Learn to Play Program won’t be eligible.
