Leafs having fun for a change.

What a difference a year makes. The last time we saw the Leafs battle the Oilers the Oil slapped them around 6-3 with Jarry in goal and Draisaitl and McDavid leading the way. This Oiler lineup featured the same stars but their opponent had one big difference.  The Leafs now play with four hard-charging lines that are tenacious at both ends of the ice.  While the stars on both teams shine the Leaf's offensive does not let up with their top performers watching from the bench. The third and fourth lines with Duhaime, MacEwen, Sissons and Paul have proven to be the difference makers for the Leafs causing opponents to wear down as the game intensity never seems to subside for this 2026 version of this storied franchise. Things are looking up for the Leafs despite the pundits predictions.
