The Toronto Maple Leafs have revealed their full roster for the 2026 Prospects Challenge in Gatineau, Que., this weekend. First overall pick Gavin McKenna leads the way.
The Toronto Maple Leafs unveiled their 2026 Prospects Challenge roster for this coming weekend in Gatineau, Que., hosted by the Ottawa Senators. The roster includes some of the top prospects in the organization, including 2026 first-overall pick Gavin McKenna, who headlines the group.
The Maple Leafs play a game on Saturday, Sept. 12, against the Senators' rookies at 6 p.m. EST, and on Sunday, Sept. 13, against the Winnipeg Jets at 1 p.m. EST.

Forwards
- Sawyer Boulton
- Brandon Buhr
- Luke Haymes
- Miroslav Holinka
- Tyler Hopkins
- Ryan Kirwan
- Tinus Luc Koblar
- Gavin McKenna
- Harry Nansi
- Brody Pepoy
- Landon Sim
- Borya Valis
- Parker Vaughan
- Nic Whitehead
- Cooper Williams
Outside of McKenna, some of the big names in the forward group include Koblar, Holinka, Nansi, Haymes, and Hopkins.
Defensemen
- Alexander Bilecki
- Vinny Borgesi
- Noah Chadwick
- Ben Danford
- Rylan Fellinger
- Hayes Hundley
- Matyas Man
- Blake Smith
On the back end, all eyes are on Ben Danford, who has goals for himself to make the Leafs' opening-night roster for 2026-27. Noah Chadwick and Alexander Bilecki are the other notable prospects on the blueline.
Goaltenders
- Sebastian Charvat
- Timofei Obvintsev
- Patriks Plumins
Obvintsev was drafted by the Maple Leafs in 2024 (157th overall), and Plumins was selected 114th overall in the last draft. Charvat is an undrafted 18-year-old goaltender who will play for the USHL's Waterloo Black Hawks for 2026-27.
