The Red Wings picked up an overtime victory against the Florida Panthers on Wednesday.

With William Nylander locked up for the long term, THN's David Alter breaks down what it means for the Toronto Maple Leafs moving forward.

CALGARY — The Toronto Maple Leafs will look to snap a four-game losing streak when they visit the Calgary Flames at Scotiabank Saddledome on Thursday.

The Maple Leafs are in the midst of a four-game losing streak and have dropped three consecutive games in regulation time for the first time since Oct. 22-25, 2021.

On Wednesday, Sheldon Keefe said that through 42 games of the regular season, he still has questions about who he can rely on for important situations.

In the last three contests, the Leafs have given up leads and allowed the go-ahead goal late in the third period.

The Maple Leafs will dress the same forwards and defensemen as they did in their 4-2 loss against the Edmonton Oilers.

The Flames are on a four-game winning streak and have only lost two of their last nine games. Blake Coleman has goals in each of his last four games (five goals, three assists). Nazem Kadri has a seven-game points streak (five goals and five assists).

Dan Vladar will get the start in net for the Flames against the Leafs. He is 7-5-2 this season with an .885 save percentage.

Where to watch

For viewers in the Maple Leafs region, the game will be broadcast and streamed on TSN4. For viewers in Calgary's region, the game will be broadcast on Sportsnet West. For viewers across Canada, the game will stream on Sportsnet+ Premium.
