The Leafs' radio voice shared a screengrab of a virtual audition for the CBC show.

The Maple Leafs made long-term commitments to Chris Tanev and Oliver Ekman-Larsson. Is it enough to remake the look and feel of Toronto's defense?

Is Joe Bowen getting ready to play the Feud?

That's what Toronto Maple Leafs fans wondered after the team's radio voice shared a screengrab of himself and his family auditioning for the show.

"Don't look now the Bowen Family has auditioned for @FamilyFuedCA," he posted on X on Wednesday.

Family Feud has been a popular show in the United States since the 1970s but the franchise opened up a Canadian version for the first time in 2019. The Canadian edition, hosted by comedian Gerry Dee, is about to enter its sixth season this fall.

The show has been advertising virtual audition casting calls since April.

It's been a while since we've seen Bowen on television. The radio voice of the Leafs used to call games on television until 2014 after Sportsnet secured the Canadian national television contract.

Last month, Bowen confirmed that he and regular radio partner Jim Ralph would again be in the booth for Leafs games for the 2024-25 season.

Stay tuned to see if the Bowens get a shot to participate. One has to think that if the Bowens are selected, Joe will be one of the family members going to play 'Fast Money' if they win.
