Reaves orchestrated a Halloween prank in a Michael Myers mask last season, posing as “The Grim Reaver” popping out of a cardboard box.

Every year there tend to be numerous videos of professional sports teams participating in Halloween ‘scaring’ festivities. Last year, Toronto Maple Leafs enforcer Ryan Reaves took it upon himself in his first year in the blue and white to get his teammates into the Halloween Spirit. The 37-year-old, disguised as Michael Myers and posing as “The Grim Reaver” popped out of a massive cardboard box ahead of Leafs practice, scaring members of the team making their way into the building for an on-ice session.

Clearly, this prank still lingered with forward Max Domi, who provided one of the better reactions from the skit last year. Now, he decided it was time to get his revenge. In a new video posted by the Maple Leafs on X, Domi is seen donning a pumpkin mask while getting in the trunk of a car – which Reaves thought was taking him to a promotional shoot.

Reaves was requested to participate in a mic check, which was Domi’s cue to complete the prank. At this point, Domi grabbed Reaves’ seat and screamed, causing the enforcer to shockingly respond, “Holy S**t.”

Domi, who is playing in his second season with the club, was pumped, screaming, “Yeah!” and mimicking Reaves, saying “I don’t get scared,” which was proved to be false in hilarious fashion.

When Reaves saw Domi’s face, he roared with laughter. With his revenge prank a success, Domi has re-established a level playing field. Now the question is, will Reaves attempt redemption of his own next year?
