
The new jerseys are part of a change in jersey manufacturers from Adidas to Fanatics.
The Toronto Maple Leafs' rookie class is getting ready for a pair of games against the Montreal Canadiens' rookies this week.
As they hit the ice for the first of three practice sessions at Ford Performance Centre on Wednesday, players wore the new jerseys supplied by Fanatics.
The new design features text that says 'PROPERTY OF TORONTO' along the circle surrounding the Toronto Maple Leafs logo. Along the shoulders, there is a cutout for a secondary logo. On the white jerseys, the Maple Leafs blue is seen along the shoulder.
On the blue jerseys, the Leafs have chosen a black accenting along the shoulders.
The NHL switched jersey manufacturers from Adidas to Fanatics this season. Along with that came a redesign of the practice uniforms that showed more of a change in design than the main jersey.

The Leafs; rookies will practice for three days before taking on the Canadiens' rookies for a pair of games at Bell Centre on Sept. 14 and 15.
