The Maple Leafs have been using Hall & Oates' 'You Make My Dreams' song for the last little while.
After much speculation, it appears the Toronto Maple Leafs are set to change their goal song.
Postmedia's Lance Hornby reports the Maple Leafs will use different goal songs throughout the season based on the themed games but will set a new standard song beginning on Wednesday when the club hosts the Montreal Canadien.
The Maple Leafs have been using Hall & Oates song 'You Make My Dreams' for the last few years now and there have been numerous calls from fans calling for some sort of change.
Recording artist Justin Bieber posted on Instagram that he was looking forward to hearing 'Hall and Oats' tonight, a nod to the Leafs previous goal song.
Incorrect spelling aside, Bieber's close relationship with Auston Matthews and the rest of the Maple Leafs, it wouldn't be a surprise if one of his tunes is used as the goal song for either of the mentioned themed games in Hornby's report.
UPDATE: Following the Maple Leafs' first goal against the Canadiens on Wednesday, Kid Cudi's Pursuit of Happiness (feat. MGMT and Ratatat) Steve Aoki remix was played throughout Scotiabank Arena, ushering in a new era of goal song.
