It doesn't appear as though Florida Panthers forward Sam Bennett will receive any supplemental discipline for his hit on Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz.
That's the word from TSN's Chris Johnston following Toronto's 5-4 win in Game 1 of their second-round playoff series.
After the game on Monday, Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube was asked about his assessment of the collision on his netminder.
"Elbow to the head. Yeah. Clear. Clear. Clear as day," he said. "I think, we handled it the way we should handle it. I'm not sure why there's not a call on it. But, you know, I get it. They missed calls. But it's clearly a penalty."
