Toronto's head coach replied with a simple "maybe" when asked about any potential lineup changes against the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.

TAMPA — The Toronto Maple Leafs might make some changes to their lineup when they visit the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe was asked if his club will make changes going into Game 3. His answer was short and a little ominous.
"Maybe," he said.
The Maple Leafs defeated the Lightning 7-2 on Thursday to even up their playoff series at 1-1. It was a convincing victory following an embarrassing 7-3 loss to Tampa in the series opener on Tuesday.

Given the series has shifted, Toronto will not have the benefit of the second-line change. Although, that seems to be less of a consideration for Keefe than perhaps in years past.
"I think there are advantages to it (not having the second change), your guys just go," Keefe said. "There are some things you can do if your opponent doesn't really care about the line changes."
The Maple Leafs held an optional skate at Amalie Arena on Saturday.
Forwards Michael Bunting, Wayne Simmonds, Calle Jarnkrok, Ryan O'Reilly, Alex Kerfoot, David Kampf, Zach Aston-Reese, and John Tavares took part in the session. As did defensemen Erik Gustafsson, Conor Timmins, Jake McCabe, Timothy Liljegren, Mark Giordano and Luke Schenn.
The Maple Leafs may look to get Liljegren into the lineup or perhaps go with seven defensemen, which they did at various points in the season. It could also be possible that there is an undisclosed injury from some of the players who did not skate in the morning.
Or the Maple Leafs may simply do nothing and keep the Lightning guessing.
It is that time of year.
