The NHL has released the remaining schedule for the Toronto Maple Leafs’ opening-round playoffs series with the Tampa Bay Lighting which is set to begin on Tuesday.
The NHL released the first two games of each Stanley Cup Playoffs series on Thursday. Although all 16 playoff teams had been decided, there were still matchups to be decided with a couple of regular season games on the schedule.
The Toronto Maple Leafs wrapped up their regular season in New York on Thursday after defeating the New York Rangers 3-2, finishing the season with a 50-21-11 record while ending the campaign on a four-game winning streak.
The Leafs will take on the Lightning for the second consecutive year. Tampa took the best-of-seven series in seven games in 2022 and went to the Stanley Cup Final for the third straight year. The Lightning fell to the 2022 Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche in six games.
In Canada, all Maple Leafs playoff games will be carried on Sportsnet and CBC or digitally on SN NOW. In the United States, ESPN will carry Games 1 and 2 while TBS will carry Games 3 and 4.
Why is there no time Games 5-7 or viewing information?
The NHL has routinely kept the times of every game that hasn't been confirmed out until they know that game will be played for sure. Once they get closer to that date, the league will announce a time that satisfies all rightsholders and conditions.
