The Toronto Maple Leafs are making a captaincy change. The Hockey News breaks down why Auston Matthews will become the 26th captain in franchise history. The Maple Leafs have revealed their broadcast schedule ahead of the 2024-25 season. Toronto will have 36 games broadcasted nationally on Sportsnet, plus six games being broadcasted nationally on Amazon's Prime Video. This is the first season where NHL games will be streamed on the Prime Video platform. It also represents the first time that some games will only be available through streaming and not through a traditional television broadcast.
