A number of these names were expected to hit the waiver wire as there were only a couple of spots on the Maple Leafs' roster up for grabs. One player of note who's not on waivers is Bobby McMann. He didn't appear in a pre-season game for Toronto and could still be nursing an injury he suffered last season. If each of these players clear waivers, they'll likely spend some time with the Toronto Marlies, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Toronto will have some solid depth options to call up if there are injuries, especially if they sneak through the wire.
