After an incident in which Maple Leafs forward Cedric Pare and Montreal Canadiens' forward Patrik Laine resulted in knee-on-knee contact and an injury to Laine, there comes word that the Maple Leafs' security team had to step in and get involved. Laine revealed on on Thursday that Pare texted out to him to see if he was ok. and admitted he could have done things to avoid the injury. Pare took part in Toronto's 2-0 win against the Detroit Red Wings in pre-season action on Thursday and remains in camp. The Leafs signed Pare to a one-year, two-way contract on July 2.
