We are 48 games into the 2023-24 season and the Arizona Coyotes have had a multitude of players step up and perform at a high level.

Here are my mid-season awards for the Coyotes.

Art Ross/Rocket Richard/Hart Trophy: Clayton Keller

Clayton Keller has to be considered the MVP of the Coyotes thus far. He leads the team with 20 goals, 25 assists and 45 points. Keller continues to play at a consistently high-level serves a valuable role as he plays on both the team’s first line and top power play unit.

Norris: Sean Durzi

Sean Durzi was acquired by the Coyotes from the Los Angeles Kings this summer and he has fit in perfectly so far. In 42 games, Durzi has eight goals, 20 assists and 28 points while playing 22:23 minutes pergame, the most amongst all Coyotes’ players. Despite never taking on this role previously, Durzi has thrived as the team’s number one defenseman and is molding into a complete player.

Vezina: Connor Ingram

Connor Ingram has been playing at the level of a superstar caliber goalie this season. He holds a 17-11 record, 2.61 goals against average and .916 save percentage. Oftentimes, Ingram has been forced to carry this Coyotes team to multiple victories. He is calm, cool and collective when in net which gives Arizona the momentum they need to win games.

Selke: Alexander Kerfoot

Alexander Kerfoot really is the Coyotes’ swiss army knife. He can do it all. Since arriving to Arizona this summer from the Toronto Maple Leafs, Kerfoot has stepped up as arguably the Coyotes’ best two-way forward, playing on both the power play and penalty kill and is fantastic at both ends of the ice.

Calder: Logan Cooley

Logan Cooley had high expectations going into this season as he was selected with the third overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft. Through 48 games, the 19-year-old center has tallied six goals, 19 assists and 25 points. Over the course of this season, it’s easy to see the strides that Cooley has made and he could be in store for a monster second half of the year.

Masterton/Lady Byng: Lawson Crouse

Lawson Crouse has been an anchor for the Coyotes since 2016. He currently has 19 goals, 10 assists and 29 points. Crouse is also a leader in the locker room and really exemplifies what it means to be a professional hockey player.
