When It’s all said and done could Clayton Keller be the best Arizona Coyotes player to ever put on the uniform?
Since Keller played his first full season with the Coyotes during the 2017-18 campaign, he has been a force to be reckoned with on the ice.
Through his 442 career games, Keller has tallied 133 goals, 209 assists and 342 points. At only 25-years-old, Keller ranks fifth amongst all Coyotes players in both points and goals and places sixth in assists.
At Keller’s current pace, he should pass Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Jeremy Roenick and Radim Vrbata to put himself as the second leading point scorer in Coyotes history which says a lot about a player who has only played in Arizona for six seasons.
It seems Keller is just entering his prime years as each season the young all-star continues to improve drastically. He is coming off a career year where he had 37 goals, 49 points and 86 points.

Keller has five seasons remaining on his contract with the Coyotes so he still has ample time to make an even larger impact in the Valley.
With the Coyotes rebuild starting to take shape more, Keller will also have an opportunity to take this team to places its never been before. Not only do individual stats matter but if Keller is able to make Arizona a perennial playoff team in the future, he has to be up there with the rest of the franchise’s great players.
Time will only tell what the future holds for Keller but he certainly has the skill set to eventually be considered the best Coyotes player to ever live.
