Clayton Keller and Nick Schmaltz's chemistry on the ice has helped propel the Coyotes into uncharted territory.

Fast, electric, exciting and entertaining.

These are four words to describe the Arizona Coyotes forward duo of Clayton Keller and Nick Schmaltz.

While the Coyotes have a number of talented forwards, it’s Keller and Schmaltz who headline and lead this team’s offense.

Both players are number one and two on the team respectively in points as Keller currently has eight goals, 16 assists and 24 points while Schmaltz trails just a little bit behind with nine goals, 11 assists and 20 points.

Keller and Schmaltz's individual skill sets are really just a line with each other, making them a very potent duo.

André Tourigny spoke following the Coyotes 6-0 victory over the Capitals.

On one hand, there is Keller who is a gifted skater, phenomenal puck handler and wicked good playmaker. Keller is so exciting to watch as he makes the game of hockey seem like a smooth symphony.

He also has the ability not only to make himself look good but he elevates his teammates helping them reach their highest potential

On the other side, Schmaltz plays a power forward type role using his big frame to his advantage but he is also a great skater and is headlined by his rocket of a shot.

Schmaltz can practically snipe the puck from anywhere in the offensive zone which has become one the Coyotes most lethal weapons specifically on the power play where Schmaltz leads the team with five goals.

The way that Keller is able to find Schmaltz often using his signature no-look backhand pass shows the type of chemistry these two talented forwards have with each other.

Keller and Schmaltz have played on a line together since before this season, so they continue to build on their chemistry especially when the two are also still developing as players.

The Coyotes are beginning to hit their stride, currently sitting atop the Western Conference wild card standings and the steady and consistent play of Keller and Schmaltz is a big reason for the team’s resurgence.

Keep an eye out for Keller and Schmaltz because they never fail to put on a show.
