A perimeter around the arena is set up for the fan festival that will take place prior to tomorrow's historic game in Salt Lake City.

The Utah Hockey Club's opener against the Chicago Blackhawks is now less than 36 hours away, and the club is gearing up for what will be an unforgettable day in Salt Lake.

The team's day will commence with morning skate tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. (not open to the public), while the fan festival will begin with a public press conference at 12:30 p.m. on the Delta Center plaza.

To accommodate the fan festival and the expected foot traffic around Delta Center and the Gateway, the following roads around the arena will be partially closed:

  • South Temple, between 400 West and 300 West
  • 300 West, between South Temple and 100 South (currently closed for viewing screen setup)
  • 100 South, between 300 West and 400 West (currently closed until 12:01 a.m. Wednesday)
