A headline UFC fight featuring Alex Pereira is the main event at Delta Center this evening, and the Utah Hockey Club had some fun with it this week.
The Utah Hockey Club may have broken training camp with their final practice yesterday and named their first-ever team captain, but there's still one more pre-season clash to go, and it's tonight...at Maverik Center?
Yes, folks, unfortunately, the Delta Center is being occupied by UFC 307, headlined tonight by a massive title tilt between Alex Pereira and Khalil Rountree, Jr.
It'll be part of a busy night in downtown Salt Lake, as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is also holding its semi-annual general conference at the same time across the street at the Conference Center, opposite Temple Square.
Before the fight, however, Utah HC got a chance to meet Rountree and Pereira before they face off in the Octagon tonight.
And they did in style -- with a literal face-off challenge.
