After almost two weeks on the road, Logan Cooley did what most of the players for the Utah Hockey Club on their day off Thursday.
They just took it easy.
"It's a long season, so you're pretty gassed," Cooley said. "On your off days, you kind of want to just chill and hang out."
There won't be any more time for that tonight, as Utah will face the Boston Bruins in a few hours at Delta Center.
"They're a big, heavy team; it's tough to get on the inside," Cooley said. "We have to let our chances come to us. We have to keep it simple and stick to what we do best."
It won't be easy, especially with the likes of Charlie McAvoy and Hampus Lindholm guarding the front of Jeremy Swayman's net, and Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak wreaking havoc as one of the best top lines in the league.
But Cooley said when Utah's at its best, they can shut down anyone defensively.
"We're trying to score goals, defend, and trying to win the game," he added. "We're not focusing on the scrums -- but we'll see."

UTA Trax, buses, and FrontRunner is the best mode of transportation to Delta Center. For information on detours/delays, check the Transit app or the UTA Service Alerts page here, where you can directly sign up for service alerts.
Those who are driving can expect heavy traffic and possibly limited parking. Allow enough time to arrive and find a space.
