The defenceman went directly to the locker room after getting his arm and shoulder pinned on a hit midway through the second period.

The Utah Hockey Club lost one of its top defencemen in Sean Durzi to an upper-body injury Monday against New Jersey.

Durzi had his arm and shoulder pinned to the boards after getting hit by Devils defenceman Jonas Siegenthaller, and went immediately to the dressing room.

The club has already ruled him out for the remainder of today's game.

Utah currently trails the Devils 2-0 at the second intermission.
