Utah Hockey Looks To Add To History Against The Recently Struggling Minnesota Wild

A lot has changed for both teams since last weeks game

Utah last lost to the Wild in a Shootout, but it will be ready to go after its overtime comeback against the Canucks

Tonight, Utah Hockey Club will look to get its revenge against the Minnesota Wild after it lost 5-4 in a shootout at home. The game will start at 6 p.m. MT time

In its first matchup of the season, it was a back and forth affair as Utah held a first period lead before Minnesota scored twice in the second period. After an exciting third period that featured 5 combined goals from both teams, the game was tied 4-4 and going to overtime.

With overtime being scoreless, the game went to a shootout where Minnesota's Matt Boldy goal ended up winning the game after Utah's Nick Bjugstad was unable to respond as his shot hit the right post.

But a lot has changed despite these two teams having played each other since last Tuesday.

Since the loss to Minnesota, Utah has gone a three game winning streak and has gotten its first home win since mid-November after it successfully came back despite being down 2-0 to the Canucks.

Along with that, Utah still has the chance to add to history as it looking to win its seventh road game in a row.

Meanwhile for the Wild, a return to home has taken a turn for the worst as it has lost three of its last four games. Along with that, Minnesota will be without forward Yakov Trenin, who was placed on injury reserve, and will still be without goaltender Filip Gustavsson.

With Utah coming in hot on the road and looking for revenge, the Wild will need to overcome a tough matchup in order for it to stop its losing streak.
