The return of Jason Zucker to the Arizona Coyotes lineup is coming soon.
According to PHNX Sports’ Craig Morgan, general manager Bill Armstrong said that Zucker should be able to come back to the lineup by November 11 when the Coyotes are set to play the Nashville Predators.
This is great news for Arizona. Prior to suffering a lower body injury on October 21, Zucker had two goals in five games.
He played a significant role playing on the second wave of the power play while being on a line alongside Logan Cooley.
The return of Zucker will really help balance out the Coyotes forward group.
Coach André Tourigny has created three solid forward lines. Clayton Keller, Nick Schmaltz and Barrett Hayton serve as the team’s fire power line as they continue to play exceptional hockey together.
Nick Bjugstad, Matias Maccelli and Lawson Crouse have really found a groove playing alongside each other while the fourth line of Jack McBain, Liam O’Brien and Alexander Kerfoot bring a physical edge that the Coyotes need.
Zucker would slide in perfectly with Cooley who he already has great chemistry with and Michael Carcone, a player that continues to show his worth.
The 31-year-old forward is also a great veteran voice to have in a primarily younger locker room that benefits from having a guy like Zucker around.
The Coyotes currently hold a 5-4-1 record and the return of Zucker shouldn’t disrupt any of the success the team has been having but will most likely help them improve even further.
