Is this finally the season Clayton Keller hits the 100-point mark?

Last year, he came close. In 81 games during the 2024-25 season, Keller had 30 goals and 60 assists for 90 points, which set a new career high. That’s two strong years out of the last three where he’s been leading the team in scoring. But this year has a very different feel.

For starters, Keller is likely going to start the season on a line with Logan Cooley and J.J. Peterka. That could end up being one of the most underrated lines in the NHL. Cooley’s skill and creativity in the middle, Peterka’s ability to score and drive play, and Keller’s vision and shooting touch could mesh really well. Last season, he played most of the year with Cooley and Dylan Guenther, which worked, but Peterka adds a new level of pace and finishing ability that this group didn’t have.

If Keller sticks with those two and continues to produce on the power play, the 100-point mark is absolutely in reach. He has the talent to get there. If Peterka can bring over the form he had last year in Buffalo, we might be looking at a monster season from Keller.
