Clayton Keller officially tied Jeremy Roenick for the fourth most goals in Coyotes team history.

During the Arizona Coyotes’ Saturday afternoon matchup against the Nashville Predators, Clayton Keller made history.
After scoring his second goal of the game, Keller officially tied Jeremy Roenick for the fourth most goals in Coyotes team history.
The 25-year-old has played a total of 486 games for Arizona where he has 152 goals, 231 assists and 383 points.
Despite accomplishing a great feat, Keller is focused on the bigger picture.
“No not at all,” Keller said on if he thinks about these sorts of records. “I mean not until number one. It’s been great playing here. I’ve played with so many great players, great coaches, the training staff, the equipment guys, they have all sacrificed so much for me and couldn’t be more thankful for them. Right now the most important thing is getting this team to the playoffs and playing meaningful games and fighting hard until the end.”
Keller is on pace for yet another fantastic season as he has tallied 19 goals, 22 assists and 41 points in 44 games.
Saturday afternoon was not the first time that Keller broke a franchise record. He was selected to the All-Star Game for the fourth time in his young career which is now the most amongst all Coyotes’ players.
When it’s all set and done, Keller may very well be considered the greatest player to ever play for the Coyotes.
He continues year after year to be the leading catalyst for the Coyotes and only seems to be getting better as time goes on.
It’s the Keller show in Arizona and he will surely break many more records over the years to come.
