After missing four games with an undisclosed injury, Connor Ingram will return for the Coyotes on Sunday night against the Jets.
Connor Ingram is set to return from injury on Sunday when the Arizona Coyotes face the Winnipeg Jets.
Ingram suffered an undisclosed injury on February 14 in a game against the Minnesota Wild and has been out ever since.
The 26-year-old goaltender has missed the past four games in which the Coyotes have lost all four.
Through Ingram's absence, Karel Vejmelka started three games and Matt Villalta started one.
In 35 games Ingram has a 17-13-2 record, 2.76 goals against average and .912 save percentage to go along with five shutouts.
At times Ingram has been the Coyotes’ best player as he was playing at an All-Star type level while helping the team stay afloat in the Western Conference wild card race really until the All-Star break.
Arizona is currently on an 11-game losing streak, so Ingram’s presence will certainly help them get out of this cold stretch.
Coach André Tourigny also announced during Saturday’s practice that Liam O’Brien is ready to return to the lineup while they are hoping Troy Stecher will be ready to return on Tuesday night after missing multiple weeks with a lower-body injury.
For the first time in a while it seems the Coyotes are basically fully healthy and let’s hope that it stays that way.
