Hepple joined the Coyotes back in 2021 after spending 19 years with the Colorado Avalanche where he most recently served as Director of Amateur Scouting. He also spent time with the Nashville Predators in an amateur scouting role.

“Alan is an excellent talent evaluator who understands how to lead a professional scouting department,” general manager Bill Armstrong said. “His knowledge of the game and what it takes to build a deep roster over the long term has played a key role in our success so far this season and will continue to do so well into the future.”

Jankowski joined the Coyotes in 2020 after spending two years with the Buffalo Sabres as Director of Amateur Scouting. He spent four years with Hockey Canada in a variety of different roles such as Head Scout and Director of Player Personnel.

“Ryan joined our amateur scouting department in 2020 and has made significant contributions through his wealth of hockey experience and knowledge of the sport,” said Armstrong. “Ryan’s thorough understanding of hockey on the amateur and professional levels have been a tremendous asset for us as we continue to build roster depth and position the Coyotes for long-term success.”

Since 2020, the Coyotes have drafted a number of promising young prospects including Dylan Guenther, Josh Doan, Logan Cooley, Conor Geekie and Maveric Lamoureux.
