Arizona Coyotes goalie prospect Michael Hrabal was dominant in Team Czechia’s 4-3 loss at the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship
The 18-year-old made 30 saves in a losing effort but showed some flashes of great things, almost upsetting Team USA.
In the shutout, Hrabal stopped five of USA’s seven shots, but Czechia was still unable to come away with the victory.
The Coyotes selected Hrabal in the second round of the 2023 NHL Draft adding a big-time goalie to their farm system.
Hrabel’s 6’6’’ frame on top of his impressive skill sets makes him a very appealing and interesting prospect with the potential to be a franchise caliber goalie one day.

This tournament will be an excellent opportunity for Coyotes fans to see what Hrabal is capable of against the top young prospects in the world.
