
The Arizona Coyotes targeted land in north Phoenix is expected to come at a pretty high expense.
According to 12News, an appraisal for the Arizona Land Department filed last week sets the minimum sale price at $68.5 million.
More than $700,000 an acre is the minimum price for the land.
The Coyotes are targeting 95 acres of land in this area for the construction of a potential new arena.
PHNX Sports’ Craig Morgan reported that the Coyotes’ pursuit of land in north Phoenix is officially on the Arizona State Land Department Board of Appeals' final agenda for March 14 which is today.

Morgan also reported that the actual auction is likely to take place around mid June, so it will still be a little bit of time before we know if the Coyotes could secure this piece of land.
