    There is some excitement surrounding the Coyotes as Josh Doan is set to make his NHL debut on Tuesday against the Blue Jackets.

    The Arizona Coyotes have recalled forward Josh Doan from the Tucson Roadrunners according to PHNX Sports’ Craig Morgan.

    Following the Coyotes’ 4-2 loss to the Dallas Stars, Morgan reported that general manager Bill Armstrong told him Doan would be recalled from Tucson and will make his NHL debut on Tuesday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

    In his first full season with the Roadrunners, Doan has an impressive 26 goals, 20 assists and 46 points in 62 games.

    The Coyotes selected Doan in the second round of the 2021 NHL Draft.

    The 22-year-old has thrived at the USHL, NCAA and now AHL level. Doan served as captain of the Arizona State Sun Devils team which shows his fantastic leadership qualities.

    He is also the son of Shane Doan, a man who played for the Coyotes organization his entire career and has the most goals, assists and points in the team’s history.
