Former Arizona Coyotes Goalie Adin Hill is one game away from winning the Stanley Cup with the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Vegas Golden Knights are one game away from winning the Stanley Cup. A big reason for that is because of their goalie, Adin Hill who actually began his career with the Arizona Coyotes.

Hill was drafted by the Coyotes in the 2015 NHL Draft with the 76th overall pick. From 2017-2021, Hill played a total of 49 games for Arizona. He had a 19-21 record and .909 save percentage.

On August 29, 2022, Hill was traded to the Golden Knights after spending one season with the San Jose Sharks. Due to an influx of injuries to Vegas’s goaltending room Hill started 27 games during the regular season but still did not seem like the goalie that could elevate his team all the way to the Stanley Cup Final.

At the start of the playoffs Hill served as the backup. The 27-year-old finally got his opportunity in the spotlight during the second round against the Edmonton Oilers when Laurent Brossoit suffered a lower body injury.

Ever since then Hill has been virtually unstoppable helping the Golden Knights defeat Edmonton and then the Dallas Stars in the following round en route to the Stanley Cup Final.

Hill has a .925 save percentage and a 2.21 goals against average in the Stanley Cup Final as Vegas leads the series 3-1 against the Florida Panthers. If he is able to successfully close out this series and win the Stanley Cup, Hill could very well win the Conn Smythe Trophy.

From back in his time with the Coyotes up until this point, Hill has gone a long way. His rise to fame has been simply incredible to watch. Hill will have an opportunity to hoist the Stanley Cup Tuesday night if the Golden Knights defeat the Panthers in Game 5.
