Former Arizona Coyotes goalie Ivan Prosvetov was placed on waivers by the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday.
Prosvetov was drafted by the Coyotes in the fourth round of the 2018 NHL Draft. He spent multiple years with the organization both at the NHL level and in the AHL with the Tucson Roadrunners.
Over three seasons, Prosvetov played 13 games for the Coyotes where he had 4-6-1 record, 4.07 goals against average and .871 save percentage.
In 11 games with the Avalanche this season, the 24-year-old posted a 4-3-1 record with a 3.16 goals-against average and .895 save percentage.
It will be interesting to see if the Coyotes are interested in a reunion with Prosvetov despite recently signing Dylan Wells to an AHL contract for the remainder of the season.
