The Arizona Coyotes give Olli Juolevi another chance to prove himself signing him as well as 10 other players to professional tryouts.

The Arizona Coyotes have signed 11 players to professional tryouts headlined by former fifth overall pick Olli Juolevi.

Juolevi was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the first round of the 2016 NHL Draft but has just not yet lived up to expectations.

The 25-year-old has played a total of 41 games through his two year NHL career for the Canucks, Florida Panthers and Detroit Red Wings tallying two goals, one assist and three points.

The talent is there for Juolevi and now he will get another opportunity to try and carve out a roster spot in the NHL.

For Bill Armstrong and the Coyotes this is a low-risk signing which could pan out if Juolevi is able to transition his skill sets into the NHL.

The other players the Coyotes signed to PTOs include defencemen Peter DiLiberatore and Austin Strand, as well as forwards Hunter Drew, Ryan Dzingel, Patrick Harper, Cameron Hebig, Micah Miller, Austin Poganski, Colin Theisen and Reece Vitelli.
