Catch up on news from yesterday's practice as the club heads into tonight's game against the Boston Bruins.

The Utah Hockey Club will face arguably its biggest home test yet against the Boston Bruins tonight at Delta Center.

Before we begin our gameday coverage, let's catch you up on what you missed from practice at the Olympic Oval yesterday.

A big topic is consistency, especially on defence, and Andre Tourigny wants to see progress in that department from all ends.

A standout on the blue line so far is Michael Kesselring, who scored his first goal of the season in Anaheim Wednesday, and he spoke about how he has grown over the past two games playing on the first defensive pair.

Another player who has benefitted from a role switch is Josh Doan, who called his defence something he's always wanted to work on.

On a side note, the players had a day off Thursday, so when asked about what they've discovered here in Utah, Doan said he just spent the day relaxing at home and taking his dog for a walk, among other things.

Kesselring, though, loves to golf, and he said his lowest score was even-par on a local golf course.

"I'm not even the best, though," he said, laughing. "Kells (Clayton Keller) and Schmaltzie (Nick Schmaltz) are the best golfers in the room."
