Utah Hockey Club and Vegas will meet for the first time in the regular season as newly minted rivals on the I-15 tonight at T-Mobile Arena.

Coming off a dominant win over Calgary Wednesday, the Utah Hockey Club makes the short trip down to Las Vegas to face the Golden Knights tonight at The Fortress.

These two teams already met once in the pre-season, with Vegas pulling away for a 5-2 win over the new expansion franchise.

However, Utah HC made some history of their own already by joining Vegas as the only two modern expansion franchises to win each of their first three games.

It's expected to be a bruising, physical battle tonight, as both teams boast newly constructed fourth lines, with Kevin Stenlund anchoring Utah's and Keegan Kolesar anchoring Vegas' bottom trio.

Utah's resilience should not be underestimated; the club has been in some adverse situations quite a bit through the first month of the season, and it has seemed to toughen their resolve and grit.

Puck drop is set for 8:00 p.m. MT at T-Mobile Arena; stay tuned to The Hockey News - Utah for more gameday coverage throughout the day.
