Catch up on what you missed from last night's 5-4 overtime heartbreaker in Anaheim.

The Utah Hockey Club fell to the Anaheim Ducks in overtime last night, thanks to Leo Carlsson's winner just 55 seconds into the fourth period.

While a point is good for the record, grabbing the extra one would have been nice for a team that had plenty of chances to put away the Ducks in their home opener Wednesday.

In the end, Utah's shorthanded defence, which became even more shorthanded when Robert Bortuzzo left late in the third period with an injury, couldn't find an extra gear to fight off Anaheim's final surge.

It now leaves the question whether Patrik Koch, who was called up earlier in the day and left a healthy scratch yesterday, will get his first start Saturday if Bortuzzo is not good to go.

Thankfully, the club has two days to rest and recharge for another stiff test Saturday at Delta Center against the Boston Bruins.
