The Utah Hockey Club won its first road game in franchise history with a 5-4 overtime decision at UBS Arena last night.

After an emotional opening night win, the Utah Hockey Club followed it up with a resilient 5-4 overtime win at UBS Arena Thursday over the New York Islanders.

Utah (2-0-0) spoiled the Isles' (0-0-1) home and season opener with a one-two punch of goals late in regulation from Josh Doan and early in overtime from Dylan Guenther.

The club will face the New York Rangers tomorrow night in the Blueshirts' home opener at Madison Square Garden.
