The club was handed its first-ever regulation home loss last night against a score-happy Ottawa squad.

A rough stretch in the first period doomed the Utah Hockey Club in its first-ever regulation home loss last night to the Ottawa Senators at Delta Center, as part of the NHL's annual Frozen Frenzy night.

The club dominated most of the game, but the Sens capitalized on some defensive breakdowns that led to an eight-minute scoring binge that proved to be the difference.

The team now turns its attention to the Colorado Avalanche, who defeated the Seattle Kraken yesterday, 3-2, at Climate Pledge Arena.
