The club will look to grab a crucial two points after having lost three of four.

The Utah Hockey Club goes up against the Colorado Avalanche seeking to snap a slump of one win in their last four games.

Yesterday, the club made some waves by adding defenceman Maveric Lamoureaux, a 2022 first-round draft choice, to the roster. He will become the first Utah HC prospect to appear in a regular-season game in franchise history should he be slotted into the lineup this evening.

On the other side of the ledger, Sean Durzi and John Marino were announced out for multiple months due to injuries.

Durzi's shoulder injury could likely end his season, while Marino's lower-back injury could keep him out until maybe March.

It comes at a time where the team is trying to be patient enough to play and win without their A-game, as Andre Tourigny said yesterday.

It'll be a big test this evening as the club faces a Colorado team hungry to continue their recent upswing.
