The club suffered its fourth loss in five games last night to Colorado at Delta Center.

After a promising 3-0-0 start to the season, the Utah Hockey Club has slumped to a 4-3-1 record following last night's 5-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche.

Lawson Crouse scored the only goal, breaking a shutout streak of 115:28 for Utah and finally breathing life into a frustrated home crowd at Delta Center.

The club did get a boost from defenceman Maveric Lamoureux, who made his NHL debut last night in the loss.

His debut and Crouse's goal proved to be the only bright spots in a night that belonged to the Avalanche, and head coach Andre Tourigny shared in the frustrations of the fans in his post-game press conference.

The club will now return to practice at the Olympic Oval at 12 p.m., before heading to Los Angeles to face off against the Kings tomorrow afternoon.
