After a difficult three-game homestand that concluded with just three goals in two games, the Utah Hockey Club faces the Los Angeles Kings in the hopes of busting out of an untimely early-season slump.
Utah is already down two of its best defencemen, with Sean Durzi and John Marino likely gone for the season, and it caught up to the team, culminating in back-to-back blowout losses at home that saw the Delta Center faithful shower them in boos.
The club got a huge boost to the lineup though, with the activation of Nick Bjugstad from injured reserve after he had missed nearly the first two months of the season with an upper-body injury.
Head coach Andre Tourigny announced a shakeup of the lines, as well, which will be revealed later this morning in full before the game.
Puck drop at the Staples Center (yes, I know it's Crypto.com Arena, but to me, it's always going to be Staples Center) is at 2 p.m. MT.
