It's finally here.
The 2024 NHL Draft will commence tonight with the first round at 7 p.m. ET (5 p.m. MT) on ESPN and ESPN+.
The Utah Hockey Club, holders of the no. 6 pick in the first round, are playing it very close to the vest with whom they will select, making for a fun and anticipatory night for the fans.
If you want to join in the party, you can come down to Delta Center, starting at 4 p.m., when doors to the arena will open for a special draft-night party (details on parking, etc. can be found here).
The Smiths are pulling out the stops, including live music, player appearances, and more, before the video board begins streaming ESPN's live feed at 5 p.m.
If you're not a fan of rush hour traffic in downtown, then you can always tune in on ESPN and ESPN+ at 5 p.m. to watch along with the fans of the 31 other teams to find out who goes where.

The final six rounds will be streamed only on ESPN+ (paid subscription required) tomorrow, but Spencer and I will still be following all the action as it unfolds.
