Last night, in Utah Hockey Club's 7-2 win over the Nashville Predators, a few new career-highs were set. Both Clayton Keller and Nick Schmaltz reached new personal bests in points.

Starting with Utah’s captain, Keller recorded his 87th point of the season. This year, he’s not only been their leading scorer but also the most consistent player on the team.

By the end of the night, Keller had collected three points and now sits just one point away from the 90-point mark with one game remaining.

As of now, Keller has 29 goals and 60 assists for 89 points in 80 games this season.

Schmaltz also set a new personal best with his 62nd point of the season. Ironically, the point that set the career-high came on a goal assisted by Keller.

That goal also secured Schmaltz a 20-goal season, the fourth of his career.

Utah has had a lot of great moments this year, and after last night’s victory, they added even more. With one game remaining, there’s still a chance for more magic in their very successful inaugural season.
