Logan Cooley Out Indefinitely With Lower-Body Injury

Utah will have to wait until after 4 Nations Face-Off to know when Cooley will be back

After sustaining an injury against Pittsburgh, Cooley will be out indefinitely.

Utah won't have the help of Logan Cooley, its blossoming young star, in its upcoming matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

In fact, Cooley won't be available for any of Utah's upcoming six games due to a lower-body injury he sustained in the 3-2 OT loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

News of Cooley's injury broke after head coach André Tourigny announced it during his presser earlier in the day, before Utah's matchup against the Blue Jackets.

Cooley won't be reevaluated until after the upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off break.

Alexander Kerfoot will make the move to Utah's first line joining captain Clayton Keller and Nick Schmaltz.

With Dylan Guenther already out indefinitely due to injury of his own, Utah is already facing serious injury to its first line.

But with Keller and Schmaltz having played together on the first line since Guenther's injury, the question will be how Kerfoot integrates into the line with them.

But until Guenther and Cooley are healthy, Utah will need to make do with who can play.

With Barrett Hayton recently named a NHL Star of the Week, Utah could end relying on him and the second line to carry more of the offensive load.

Do you think Utah can generate offense even with Cooley out? What will Keller do without his right-hand man? Let me know down below!
