The Utah Mammoth continued adding to their young core by signing forward Vadim Moroz, one of the KHL's most productive Belarusian forwards, to a two-year entry-level contract.

The Utah Mammoth continued building for the future on Wednesday, signing forward Vadim Moroz to a two-year entry-level contract as another promising young talent joins the organization's growing prospect pipeline.

At 22 years old, Moroz arrives in North America after establishing himself as one of the Kontinental Hockey League's emerging offensive threats with Dinamo Minsk. The Belarus native spent the past four seasons with the club, appearing in 222 KHL games while recording 56 goals and 53 assists for 109 points.

Moroz is coming off a 2025-26 season in which he registered 14 goals and 15 assists in 54 regular-season games, earning his first selection to the KHL All-Star Game. He added two points in eight Gagarin Cup Playoff appearances as Dinamo reached the postseason.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound forward enjoyed a breakout campaign the year before. During the 2024-25 season, he established career highs with 26 goals, 18 assists and 44 points while finishing with a plus-18 rating. He led Dinamo Minsk in goals, ranked second on the team with five game-winning goals and tied for fourth with 64 hits, showcasing an offensive game that was complemented by a physical edge.

One of the defining moments of Moroz's KHL career came on Sept. 13, 2024, when he scored the first hat trick of his professional career against Barys. At just 20 years old, he became the youngest Belarusian player to record a KHL hat trick and the first Belarusian to score three even-strength goals in a single KHL game since 2010.

His offensive surge continued throughout the season. Moroz was named KHL Forward of the Week on March 10, 2025, during a career-best five-game goal streak in which he produced five goals and seven points between March 3 and March 13.

Consistency has become one of Moroz's calling cards. He was one of only two Dinamo Minsk players to score at least 10 goals in each of the past three seasons, solidifying himself as one of the club's most dependable offensive contributors.

Moroz also brings familiarity to Utah's prospect pool, having spent the past several seasons developing alongside fellow Mammoth prospect Yegor Borikov within Dinamo Minsk's system.

Before becoming a full-time KHL player, Moroz suited up for Dinamo-Shinnik Bobruysk in the MHL and helped Metallurg Zhlobin capture the Belarusian Extraleague championship in 2023.

Originally selected by the Arizona Coyotes in the third round, 88th overall, of the 2023 NHL Draft, Moroz now takes the next step in his career as he looks to translate his success in one of the world's top professional leagues to the NHL level. For a Mammoth organization intent on building through youth, the signing represents another investment in a player whose best hockey may still be ahead of him.
