The Utah Hockey Club will face the Anaheim Ducks tonight in Orange County, but they will be one blue-liner short with Sean Durzi out long-term due to an upper-body injury.
To fill that roster spot, the club recalled defenceman Patrik Koch, who was one of the standouts in the pre-season.
The undrafted 27-year-old out of Slovakia only has appeared in one NHL game, which came last season against the Minnesota Wild.
However, he proved to be a force on the blue line for the Roadrunners last season, accumulating 15 points in 63 games, along with 97 penalty minutes.
