As the summer continues, just a little reminder to please look after those you love, always.
You may have heard Utah HC general manager Bill Armstrong and others keep reiterating how character is important in every person they bring into the organization.
That character is obviously built on a foundation of a great family life.
And while some of us aren't as blessed to have such a tight-knit family at home, we can still appreciate those who do, like ESPN NHL insider Greg Wyshynski, among others:
It's a little subtle reminder we should treasure everything we have while we can.
So, regardless if you have a tight-knit family or not, treasure those around you -- i.e., your friends -- as your family. They matter too.
It truly the basis for building not only a community, but a fanbase that truly becomes inseparable --
A fanbase that makes you feel like family.
